Terms and Conditions

DueSave — Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 11 August 2026 Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DueSave application and website at duesave.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by Tarek M Talal Alkurdi, an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating under the name "DueSave" ("DueSave", "we", "us", "our").

2. What DueSave is — and what it is not

DueSave is a personal savings-planning and reminder tool. It helps you plan how much to set aside each month toward recurring obligations, track those plans against self-defined accounts, and receive reminders before due dates.

Please read this carefully:

  • DueSave is not a bank, a payment provider, a money-transfer service, or a regulated financial institution, and is not a substitute for one.
  • DueSave does not hold, move, receive, invest, or have access to any of your actual money. All amounts, accounts and balances in the app are figures you enter yourself for planning purposes only. Nothing in the app represents real funds under our control.
  • DueSave does not connect to your bank accounts and does not use open-banking or any live financial data.
  • DueSave does not provide financial, tax, legal, investment, or immigration advice. Reminders and figures are informational planning aids, not advice or instructions to act.

You remain solely responsible for your actual finances and for meeting your real-world obligations and deadlines.

3. Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee

  • Reminders are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to be delivered, timely, or accurate. Email delivery depends on third parties, your settings, and factors outside our control.
  • Reminders are based entirely on the information you enter. If that information is wrong, missing, or out of date, reminders will be too.
  • You are responsible for meeting your own obligations — including visa and ID renewals, insurance, fines, and any other deadline — whether or not you receive a reminder.

DueSave is not liable for any consequence of a missed, late, incorrect, or undelivered reminder, including any fine, penalty, lapse, loss, or expense you may incur.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. By using DueSave you confirm you meet these requirements. If you add other people (such as family members), you confirm you have the right to enter their information and agree to be responsible for it in line with our Privacy Policy.

5. Your account

  • Provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us at info@duesave.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are used unlawfully or abusively.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; attempt unauthorised access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems; interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law; copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission; upload malicious code or unlawful content; or misuse reminders or communication features.

7. Subscriptions, plans and payments

7.1 Plans

DueSave offers the following plans. Current features and prices are shown in the app and on our Pricing page:

PlanObligations trackedPrice
FreeUp to 5Free
PersonalUp to 50USD 2.99 / month or USD 29.99 / year
BusinessUp to 500USD 41 / month or USD 449 / year

Prices are shown inclusive of any VAT or sales tax that applies in your country — the price you see is the total you pay. Paddle, as merchant of record, calculates and remits the tax portion.

7.2 How payment works (merchant of record)

Paid subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), acting as our merchant of record. Paddle is the seller of record and processes your payment; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's own buyer terms and privacy policy. DueSave never receives or stores your full card details. Paddle calculates and collects applicable VAT/sales tax.

7.3 Billing and renewal

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually as selected at checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled beforehand.
  • We may change prices or plan features; where required we will give reasonable advance notice, and price changes apply from your next renewal.

7.4 Cancellation and refunds

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep paid access until the end of the current paid period.
  • We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid subscriptions, as set out in full in our Refund Policy.
  • After the 14-day window, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds are processed by Paddle.

7.5 Downgrades and plan limits

If you downgrade or your paid plan ends and you have more obligations than your new plan allows, your existing obligations are not deleted. Obligations above the new limit become dormant: you can still view and delete them, but they are otherwise frozen — no editing, no reminders or notifications, no recording of payments or transactions, and no recalculation of dues. You can restore full functionality at any time by upgrading again, or by deleting obligations until you are within your plan's limit. Where you are over the limit, the most recently added obligations become dormant first.

7.6 Deleting a paid account

If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it before deleting your account. The app will guide you through this.

8. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, text, graphics, and the DueSave name and branding — is owned by DueSave or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal planning, subject to these Terms.

Your data belongs to you. The information you enter remains yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process and display that data to operate the Service for you.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (hosting, email and payment providers, and — for our apps — the Apple App Store and Google Play). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services beyond our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that reminders or calculations will be accurate or delivered. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • DueSave and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any fine, penalty, missed deadline, or lapsed obligation resulting from a missed, late, or inaccurate reminder or from information you entered.
  • Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50 (or equivalent).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DueSave and its operator from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party (including any person whose information you entered).

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your licence ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including §§ 8, 10, 11, 12, 14) continue to apply.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence, the courts of Dubai, UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: if any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver: failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
